DIY shirts

yesterday i found a really ugly old shitrt that was used as a costume for the 1800s era
i decided to make it beautiful since it was going to goodwill anyway.

                          first i cut off the sleeves 

                                        next the neck came off,i cut it at a squared angle.so it now has a sortof low neck that rests on the shoulders                

                  next i pinned around the  neckline and sleeves.  then sew around the pinned edges        

                          add some cute embellishments(fabric paint,beads,appliques,etc.)
